According to Obama's VP candidate, the patriotic thing for wealthy americans to do is pay more in taxes. What? Does he mean that the peons in my economic caste don't get to be more patriotic?

The REAL patriotic thing to do would be for congress to go on a diet. They are already gorged by cash on the backs of working Americans and still can't satiate their appetite. If they really wanted to be patriotic, they would put the interests of America ahead of their own tax and spend policies.
Seems like I remember a patriotic event circled around taxes a few years ago - the Boston Tea Party. Patriotic indeed - Biden - get a grip.
